Front counter personnel receive building permit applications, check contractors for required licenses, issue permits and maintain records. Plans are examined to ensure all construction meets the requirements of codes, regulations and other ordinances. Field inspections are conducted to assure all new improvements are being constructed in accordance with approved plans and all applicable construction codes.
