Volunteer of the Year
The City of DeLand is seeking nominations to recognize area residents for their volunteer efforts. The Volunteer of the Year Award is given annually to a greater DeLand-area volunteer, who goes above and beyond the call of duty. The nominee must have been engaged in volunteer activities for a minimum of one year in the greater DeLand area.
The city is separately accepting nominations for DeLand-area volunteers under the age of 40.
Honorees will have their names memorialized in a spot in Downtown DeLand.
